Features:

  1. Incomparable endurance: as the only civilian UAVs in its class, it can fly for 2 hours! This allows you to plan missions with endurance reserve that is needed to overcome the large distances and worst-case changing weather conditions.

  2. Payload: Pteryx can lift up to 1 kg of cargo: cameras, camcorders, or other research equipment. Moreover, the whole payload is housed in roll-stabilized head on the front of the fuselage.

  3. Wind penetration: if you fly too fast, you're wasting precious energy, when you fly too slow, you fly where the wind wants. Pteryx was designed to fly at speeds of about 50km / h.  It's a perfect balance between wind resistance, safety and energy efficiency, for light or medium wind speeds. Sensors:

Pteryx can accommodate wide variety of sensors. Moreover, sensors are installed in easy to replace camera head, so you can different sensor every flight.

As a standard, Pteryx is delivered with 16MPx APSC daylight camera and wide lens. Sensor options include:

  1. Two camera set (1 daylight and 1 NIR)

  2. Multi spectral camera (eg. Tetracam Mini MCA)

  3. IR camera

  4. Other sensors
